Zusammenfassung

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking an experienced Data Technical Lead to guide a team of developers in delivering an Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory based solution. You will craft technical specs, estimate efforts, and closely collaborate with the Solution Architect.

The role requires 8–10+ years in data systems with at least 4+ years leading teams, strong Databricks administration skills, and hands-on experience with Databricks AI features and ADF integration.

Qualifikationen

• 8–10+ years of experience in data systems.
• 4+ years of experience leading teams.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks Workspace configuration and administration.
• Expertise in Databricks cluster management, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Azure cost estimation and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks AI capabilities (Genie and Mosaic AI) and integration into data solutions.
• Proficiency in Databricks access and security management.
• Ability to create and maintain Databricks Notebooks using SQL, Python, and R/Scala.
• Strong understanding of DataFrames, data manipulation and transformation in Databricks.
• Experience integrating Azure Data Factory with Databricks and orchestrating notebooks from ADF pipelines.
• Designing, building, deploying Azure Data Factory pipelines across environments.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehouse design and management.
• Good knowledge of Azure SQL.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Industry experience within Insurance, Reinsurance, or Financial Services is highly preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead a team of approx. 5 developers to implement an Azure Data bricks and Azure Data Factory based solution

What You'll Bring Along

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• Snowflake certifications highly desirable
• Experience: 8–10+ years in data systems, with 4+ years explicitly in leading teams
• Strong experience in Azure Databricks Workspace configuration and administration
• Expertise in Databricks cluster management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Azure cost estimation and optimization
