Client Server in Milan is seeking a Data Scientist (Python SQL) with experience in pricing analytics and predictive modeling. The role offers a hybrid work model with WFH up to 65,000 EUR and opportunities to progress within a technology-driven car insurance company.

You will join the Pricing team to design and build proprietary predictive technology for future claims, renewal probability, price demand and portfolio value optimisation.

Competenze

• Degree in a STEM field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics.
• Experience with data science and key data analysis libraries.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; ML experience preferred.

Data Scientist (Python SQL) Milan / WFH to 65,000Opportunity to progress your career at a successful car insurance company that puts technology and engineering at the core of everything they do.

As a Data Scientist, you will be joining the company's Pricing team where you will design and build the proprietary predictive technology in areas such as, prediction of future claims, renewal probability, price demand and portfolio value optimisation.

You will seek to implement new technologies to solve complex problems that arise and will be encouraged to achieve team goals in an innovative way, suggesting new ideas to generate value for the company.

Location / WFH:

The company is a big advocate of flexible working and prides itself on DEI; you can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Milan office 1-2 days a week; you can also work at times that suit you.

About you:

• You are degree educated in a STEM subject such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics
• You have experience within Data Scientist and have a good understanding of key data analysis libraires
• You have strong Python programming experience
• You have strong SQL skills
• You have experience with Machine Learning algorithms and applying them in line with industry best practice
• You have strong problem solving and analytical skills
• You are fluent in English and ideally Spanish (although this is not essential)
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
