Your role as Data Operations & Reporting Associate

We are looking for a Data Operations & Reporting Associate to join our team. This is a key role responsible for taking ownership of the system’s consistency and evolution , ensuring that our data aggregation platform delivers accurate, reliable, and high-quality client reports.

Beyond overseeing day-to-day operations, you will explore new platform features and identify ways to leverage technology to generate tangible business value. Your work will have a direct impact on how the firm uses data to make decisions and serve clients across multiple jurisdictions, including UK.

Core Responsibilities Include
  • Performing system-wide sanity checks to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
  • Validating aggregated portfolio transactions to guarantee data consistency
  • Ensuring instruments are correctly categorized within the system
  • Supporting the team on data cleaning and process automation
  • Implementing ongoing improvements in how attributes, tags and logics are managed in Addepar
  • Supervising client reporting templates to ensure alignment with internal standards
  • Managing internal requests through a ticketing system with clear prioritization and tracking

The person will be positioned to become the internal point of reference for everything related to Addepar and eventually take on full responsibility for the platform’s operational management.

Key Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years of operational experience in the financial industry or on wealth data / reporting platforms
  • Previous experience in middle / back office, fund administration, financial services audit (on financial institutions), consulting on data / reporting for wealth managers, or wealth software implementation
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring new technologies. Experience with technology tools specific to wealth management reporting is considered a plus
  • The person can be based in Italy or UK
  • Fluent in English and ideally able to understand and speak at least basic Italian and / or French
Key Skills Required
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and validation
  • Solid database skills, including experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL) and the ability to query and validate structured data
  • Familiarity with financial instruments (both liquid and illiquid)
  • Ability to read, structure, and validate complex financial data flows
  • Strong attention to detail, structured mindset, and high sense of accountability
