Are you an accomplished Data Migration Lead with a proven history of managing complex SAP S/4HANA transformation projects? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major digital transformation.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional seeking to contribute strategically to large-scale SAP implementations. You will be instrumental in shaping and delivering critical data migration workstreams, ensuring seamless transitions and impeccable data quality throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies, including scope, data ownership, migration waves, and risk mitigation
• Lead workshops with business and technical teams to define migration requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage
• Coordinate data migration activities during cutover planning, including mock runs, data loads, validation, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams, leveraging your understanding of SAP data structures and tools
• Support the alignment of data governance policies and ensure business needs are met throughout the migration lifecycle
• Extensive experience leading data migration projects within large SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Strong familiarity with SAP's Activate methodology and industry best practices for data migration
• Proven ability to develop migration strategies, including scope definition, risk mitigation, and reconciliation plans
• Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders on data requirements
• Knowledge of SAP ETL tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, or LTMC, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
• Understanding of SAP FICO processes to support robust data quality and business process alignment
• Fluency in Italian is a mandatory requirement for effective stakeholder engagement
• Previous experience in greenfield SAP implementations
• Additional language skills, particularly in key European languages, would be beneficial
• Familiarity with broader project management methodologies and tools

Candidates are required to travel to the Milan office 2-3 times per week.

Rate is flexible based on experience, up to €800 per day.
