Your Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Develop APIs using Python (e.g., FastAPI) for data access and integration
• Ensure data quality, performance optimisation and security
• Knowledge in NoSQL-based databases
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable data-driven decisions
• Maintain and document data architecture and best practices

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience in Data Engineering
• Proficiency in Python inc. API and ETL development, and advanced SQL
• Experience of cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of data modelling, pipeline development, and data warehousing
• Experience in [Py]Spark, MongoDB, Apache Kafka or other NoSQL’s, are a plus
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Fluency in English; Italian and/or German are a plus
