Econic Partners in Milan is hiring a Research Analyst to join our growing European team in January 2027. You will apply your analytical skills to real client projects across industries, working closely with project managers and senior economists to deliver high-quality insights.

You'll analyse data, communicate findings clearly to clients, and develop a grounding in competition economics and econometrics. This role offers a collaborative culture, meaningful client work, and hybrid working

Qualifications

• Recent bachelor's and/or master's degree in Economics or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysing and interpreting data to provide key insights (using statistical programmes to conduct quantitative analyses and create clear data visualisations).
• Applying economic reasoning to solve analytical problems.
• Participating in internal meetings and contributing to the team’s critical thinking.
• Conducting qualitative research on economic theory, market trends and facts, and industry dynamics to support economic arguments.
• Contributing to a positive work environment.
