Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Capaccio-Paestum, Italy to support a world-class data center on-site. The freelance, permanent-position involves extensive server/network maintenance, structured cabling, and incident response.

The role requires 3+ years in data center ops, strong cabling and documentation skills, and comfort with on-call shifts. Certifications like CDCP/CDCS/CDCE are preferred.

Competenze

• 3+ years of data center operations experience required.
• Expert cabling skills including Cat6/6a and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and document incidents clearly.
• Comfort with on-call rotations and shift differentials.
• Experience with rack-and-stack operations and UPS systems.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
