A leading global insurance company in Italy is seeking a Data Center Facility Engineer to design, install, operate, and maintain data center infrastructure supporting IT services. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of data center standards. Fluency in English and Italian is required. This role involves ensuring the reliability and availability of facilities and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
As a Data Center Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of the data center infrastructure that supports Generali's IT services. You will ensure the reliability, availability and security of the data center facilities, cabling, racks and environmental monitoring; you will collaborate with the building Facility team which are directly responsible for the availability and reliability of power, cooling, fire protection, and facility infrastructure management. You will also coordinate with external vendors, contractors and service providers to deliver high‑quality data center solutions.
