Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a highly motivated Master’s student to join the Data & Analytics team in Europe. You will work with colleagues and clients from day one to design, prototype, and implement analytical solutions that address real-world challenges.

The role emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, rigorous data science, and hands-on project work across financial services and other sectors. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, international collaboration, and mentorship

Qualifications

• Master’s students in a quantitative discipline from top academic programs (Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering).
• Programming skills in Python or R, with eagerness to extend knowledge of technologies.
• Excellent command of English and Italian (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels to solve challenging problems.
• Develop tailored analytics solutions and prototypes for analytical challenges.
• Design NLP/ML toolkit components and validate models for credit risk and portfolio strategies.
• Engage in discussions with clients and colleagues to share ideas and insights.
• Contribute to loss models, risk analytics, and other data-driven projects across industries.
• Support delivery of impactful results and knowledge transfer to client teams.
