Zespri is seeking a Data and AI Engineer based in Bologna or Aprilia. You will own data pipelines, governance, and platform backbone for analytics, AI, and BI initiatives across the data lifecycle.

This role drives data quality, feature stores, and automation for scalable data solutions, collaborating with global teams. You’ll partner with stakeholders to translate needs into datasets for AI/ML, structure data for Databricks Apps and SAP Analytics Cloud, and advance agentic AI workflows while

Competenze

• 3+ years of delivering data engineering in a real-world business context.
• Proficiency in Python and large-scale data processing (e.g. Spark, PySpark).
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, and API integrations.
• Understanding of ML/AI lifecycle and data requirements.
• Exposure to large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
