Role: Cytology Sales Specialist

Location: Southern Italy, mainly focused in the Campania region

With technology advancing rapidly — growing more complex each year — scientific support in the sales process is becoming increasingly important and plays a larger role in customer loyalty. Accordingly, the Cytology Sales Specialist will support customers in all aspects of product implementation and upselling.

Working alongside the wider Sales team and the Field Service team, the Cytology Sales Specialist will be involved in budget preparation and sales monitoring, and will be responsible for managing annual revenues, on-site installation, customer training, education, and troubleshooting Hologic’s Cytology products, including consumables, instrumentation, and applications.

What You Can Expect:

  • Execute professional sales processes with end-user customers from first contact to post-sale.
  • Support existing and potential customer base to facilitate sales growth.
  • Respond to customer requests and needs to resolve issues including product interest/enquiries, product orders, payment issues, technical support, troubleshooting, product support, training, education, and instrument installation and repair.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and be available for all technical support needs via phone, email, virtual calls, and Customer Care Visits (CCV).
  • Support the Regional Business Manager to achieve Sales Plan and maintain Expense Budget.
  • Assist in gathering market data and information, particularly forwarding competitive information and impacts.
  • Participate in trade shows and customer gatherings, completing appropriate paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
