Richiesta laurea in Ingegneria o discipline STEM ed esperienza Expert 2–5 anni, inclusa almeno 3 anni in progetti IT e ambienti on‑premise.

Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners of the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme) program, along with British BAE Systems and Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, aimed at the development and implementation of a new generation aerial system, defined as a “system of systems”. Used for multi-domain operations in defense, the system will feature a “core platform” connected with other peripheral “adjuncts” systems, piloted and unpiloted. The program, one of the most challenging and futuristic for the aerospace and defense industry, will drive the technological revolution that will characterize the sector in the next fifty years. A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative, enabling technologies that will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations. Within the Cyber & Security Solution Area, we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for our offices in Rome, Genoa and Naples.
The person will be responsible for the following activities:

• Design, implementation, management and optimization of systems and services based on on-premise infrastructures (VMware and Microsoft);
• Support for the design of complex architectures to meet customer requirements with particular attention to security aspects (Integrity, availability and confidentiality), and the effectiveness and efficiency of the designed solutions;
• Ensure the scalability, security and performance of on-prem environments, collaborating with architects, software developers, system administrators and security engineers.

Education: degree in Engineering/STEM disciplines

Seniority: Expert 2-5 years of experience
At least 3 years in Information Technologies projects and in on-Premise environments with excellent knowledge of technologies and attention to security aspects

Technical knowledge and skills:

• Skills in the design and implementation of complex virtualization infrastructures using solutions such as Virtualization, VMware vSphere, Red Hat OpenShift or Openstack/OpenShift;
• Skills in the design and implementation of Identity Management infrastructures;
• Skills in the design and implementation of Microsoft Sharepoint, Exchange on-prem, Active Directory infrastructures;
• Experience in designing architectures in HA, BC and/or DR scenarios is welcome;
• Skills in the design and implementation of Storage, SDS infrastructures and Backup and VDI solutions

Behavioral skills:

• Good attitude to teamwork
• Effective communication skills
• Be a reliable and flexible team player
• Have a creative mindset and the ability to analyze problems effectively

Language skills:
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (C1 level)
