Sigma Defense in Rome, NY is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to implement and maintain security controls across the system lifecycle, with a focus on RMF compliance and Zero Trust for cloud and on-premises environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, DoD security knowledge, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Proficiency with ACAS, Xacta, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud is preferred.

Competenze

• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Foundation in DoD security requirements.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain; sponsorship possible.

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain security controls throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support RMF activities and DoD security requirements.
• Assist with Zero Trust across systems, apps, cloud, and supporting tech.
• Perform vulnerability scanning using ACAS and remediate findings.
• Support Azure security posture and Azure Policy initiatives.
• Assist with IaC and infrastructure automation.
• Document configurations, procedures, and remediation steps.
