Job summary

Reevo Spa cerca un Cybersecurity Analyst Tier 1 per il monitoraggio continuo di sistemi di sicurezza e l’analisi iniziale degli allarmi. La posizione è basata a Catania con modalità di lavoro ibrida e coinvolge escalation a livelli superiori in caso di necessità.

Il candidato ideale possiede laurea in Informatica o campo correlato, 1–2 anni di esperienza, conoscenze MITRE ATT&CK, XDR/NDR, Active Directory e Linux, con abilità di analisi dei log e lavoro di squadra in un contesto internazionale.

Qualifications

• Laurea in Informatica o campo correlato.
• Almeno 1–2 anni di esperienza in ambienti di Cyber Security.
• Conoscenza di XDR/NDR, Active Directory e Linux.
• Capacità di analisi di log di sistema, rete e applicazioni.
• Conoscenza del framework MITRE ATT&CK e certificazioni Cyber security sono un plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitoraggio costante di sistemi di sicurezza come SIEM, IDS e firewall per rilevare attività sospette.
• Analisi iniziale degli alert per valutare severità e impatto, filtrando falsi positivi.
• Logging accurato di incidenti, azioni e risultati, con documentazione per escalation.
• Risposta agli incidenti secondo SOP SOC e procedure interne.
• Collaborazione con Tier 2 per indagini avanzate e gestione incidenti.

The future colleague will join the Cyber Security Operations Team in the role of CYBERSECURITY ANALYST – Tier 1, responsible for the continuous monitoring of security systems and tools, initial alert analysis, incident triage, and escalation to higher levels when necessary. Responsibilities of the selected candidate include:

• Constant monitoring of security systems and tools such as SIEM, IDS, and firewalls to detect suspicious activities;
• Performing initial analysis of security alerts to assess severity, potential impact, and relevance, with a focus on filtering out false positives;
• Accurate logging of all incidents, actions taken, and outcomes achieved, including supporting documentation for escalation processes;
• Responding to common incidents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined within the SOC;
• Collaborating with Tier 2 Analysts for advanced investigation and incident handling.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• At least 1/2 years of experience in Cyber Security service environments;
• Knowledge of XDR, NDR technologies, Active Directory and Linux;
• Troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to analyze system, network, and application logs to identify anomalies;
• Familiarity with threat analysis frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;
• Certifications relatedto the Cyber Security field (e.G., GIAC Certified Incident Handler, ECSA, CEH) are a plus.

Language skills:

• Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken;
• Good command of Frenchand/or Spanish is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving contexts;
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Cooperative spirit andteamwork orientation;
