RINA is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Proposal Specialist to join its office in Rome, Genoa, Lecce, Naples within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

The Proposal Specialist focuses on coordinating and supervising all activities related to proposal compilation. This role involves overseeing the proposal development process from initiation to delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards and policies.

Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate Proposal Development
    • Schedule and lead proposal kick-off meetings.
    • Develop project schedules, budgets, and plans to achieve proposal objectives.
    • Manage personnel, finances, and facilities required for proposal development.
  • Gather Proposal Content
    • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations personnel, practice leaders, and marketing team to gather required proposal content.
    • Identify technical references, similar assignments, and required data for engineering development items.
  • Review and Edit Proposal Input
    • Coordinate, review, and edit proposal input from various stakeholders for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
    • Incorporate feedback from internal and external reviewers.
  • Ensure Proposal Accuracy and Compliance
    • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of proposal materials, including technical scope and staff qualifications.
    • Ensure proposals are compliant with RFP guidelines and company standards.
  • Write and Edit Proposal Content
    • Coordinate, write, and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, conciseness, and compliance with RFP guidelines and company standards.
  • Provide Guidance and Coaching
    • Coach proposal teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practices.
    • Provide guidance and assistance to peers to support common proposal/business development processes and approaches.
  • Analyze RFPs and Identify Business Requirements
    • Analyze requests for proposals (RFPs) to identify business-related requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria for each opportunity.
  • Track and Document Proposal Process
    • Track and document the proposal process and outcomes.
    • Identify areas for improvement and best practices for future proposals.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Business Administration Finance Management

  • +3 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in the operations or engineering sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in proposal materials.
  • Knowledge of technical/engineering concepts and terminology.
