Job summary

BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. in Italy is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to define and maintain the company’s security strategy and to lead risk assessment, policy development and compliance efforts.

You will coordinate vulnerability management, incident response and security operations across on-premises and cloud environments (M365/Azure), ensuring GDPR, NIS2 and ISO 27001 standards are met. This role reports to the IT Director and requires strong leadership in a high containment pharma setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations and/or GRC.
• Knowledge of NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST frameworks.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring and Incident Management.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP network architectures.
• Experience with Next-generation firewalls, VPNs and Zero Trust technologies, network segmentation, SIEM and SOC, endpoint security, cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring and migration in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Oversee security systems such as: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SIEM, Email/Web security, PAM and IAM.
• Manage cyber security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
• Monitor security metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001 and sector regulations.
• Define and deliver security awareness programmes for staff.
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers.
• Manage budgets, investments and the technology roadmap.
• Work with senior management to define strategic priorities and improvement plans.
• Define KPIs and SLAs relating to security and networking services.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Provide regular updates to IT Director, COO or Senior Management on cyber risk.

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Manager - that will mainly ensure:

• Define and maintain the company’s cyber security strategy.
• Develop and update security policies, standards and procedures.
• Manage the cyber risk assessment and risk mitigation plan.

• Provide regular updates to the IT Director, COO or Senior Management on the level of cyber risk and the status of the infrastructure.

Main Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or related fields;
• 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations and/or GRC;
• Knowledge of NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST frameworks;
• Experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring and Incident Management;
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP network architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of:

• Next-generation firewalls
• VPNs and Zero Trust technologies
• Network segmentation
• SIEM and SOC
• Endpoint security
• Cloud security

• Experience in managing security and migration in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Knowledge of the principles of Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with monitoring and network management systems.
• Strong managerial skills, risk-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude;
• Cybersecurity certifications will be considered a plus;

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. We are looking for a Manager (Quadro - CCNL Chimico-farma).
