A leading Italian tech company in Naples is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to define security architecture and manage security policies. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, has experience in cybersecurity for Industrial Automation, and is fluent in both Italian and English. This position will let you be part of an innovative R&D team driving forward high-tech solutions.

Competenze

• Proven experience in applying cybersecurity principles to Industrial Automation and Control Systems.
• Very good knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Deep practical knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions.

Conoscenze

Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Security architecture definition and management
• Definition of the security policy of information systems
• Assessment of risks associated with the use of specific ICT tools
• Development of predictive analysis on possible train weaknesses

Competence Requirements / Qualifications

• BSc / MSc / PhD degree in Computer Science / Data Science Engineering
• Experience in the same role
• Very good knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience in applying cybersecurity principles to Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS), Operational Technology (OT)
• Strong understanding and practical experience with cybersecurity standards relevant to the railway sector, specifically: IEC 62443 series, EN 50701
• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations for critical infrastructure, such as NIS2 / D.Lgs. 138 / 2024, and their impact on manufacturers
• Knowledge of practices and methods of security architecture and ICT strategy
• Deep practical knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
• Familiarity with firewall and other security tools and technologies
• Fluent Italian and English (both written and spoken)
