Your role

The Customer Intelligence Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting analytics at the customer level and extracting insights from customers for all company audience, locally or globally. The Customers Intelligence Senior Analyst leverages SQL (Hive/MySQL) to run existing database queries and build new queries for the customers analytics team, conducts advanced analysis by collecting and using a comprehensive set of data that explains all potential business drivers. The output of the Analyst will support a mix of ad-hoc analyses, customer analytics, and reporting.

  • Delivers standard reports through SQL code on a weekly and monthly basis, able to update existing code as business requirements change. Develops and maintains knowledge base on the consumer, recommending and producing dashboards to allow the business to monitor customer base health as well as keep under control key trends.
  • Employs data and research insights/analysis on the customer database to understand customer types, behavioral segments and inter purchase intervals.
  • Develop effective presentations on complex ideas that can be communicated in a simple and straight forward manner.
  • A curious, lifelong learner able to work in an international environment with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Main responsibilities
  • Query customer database for data for reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base on the consumer, recommending and producing dashboards to allow the business to monitor customer base health as well as keep under control key trends.
  • Research insights on the customer database to understand customer types, behavioral segments and inter purchase intervals.
  • Prepare reports/presentations, with his/her actionable insight and business recommendations.
Main requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SQL — mandatory.
  • Airflow & GitLab.
  • Google BigQuery.
  • Strong knowledge of Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) — mandatory.
  • Statistical packages and data analysis tools (R, Python, SAS) — not mandatory, but is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and its main features (e.g., pivot tables, macros, etc.) and presentation (Powerpoint) — mandatory.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Data company and/or analytics Best in Class analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong both in Communication writing and verbally.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to clearly convey very complex ideas in simple easy to understand ways.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under stress and with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in highly analytical and quantitative areas such as: Math, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
