A global technology company in Italy is seeking a Customer Application Engineer to manage technical proposals for contractual services. This role requires a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, industry experience, and proficiency in English. The successful candidate will be involved in analyzing technical specifications and collaborating with commercial teams during negotiations. The Customer Application Engineer is a key role in the Commercial Service organization being responsible for defining, preparing, and managing the technical proposals for contractual LTSAs in terms of Scope of Work and Costs and in supporting the commercial organization in the deal s’ n egotiation .
In the role the successful candidate will bring technical expertise into commercial operation, strengthening relationship with CoEs and critical functions such as Technical Sales, Engineering, Global Operations, Knowledge Service, Risk, Product Leadership, and external vendors, as well as actively participating to Customer negotiations as focal point for technical contents. The Customer Application Engineer work closely with the Regional Commercial team as a key partner in the strategy development to create winning proposals, providing technical expertise in analyzing Customer’s needs, and selecting and developing the most competitive BH technical solutions.
