Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina, Sicily, seeks a passionate Chef de Partie to craft fresh, seasonal, high-quality dishes aligned with Belmond standards. You will autonomously manage a kitchen section, train junior staff, and contribute to a world-class guest experience in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar position within luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and raw materials, with a strong focus on seasonality and quality.
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and a problem-solving orientation.
• Strong adherence to procedures and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specific kitchen section autonomously (e.g., starters, first courses, main courses, side dishes, or pastry), ensuring high-quality standards, in accordance with the Food & Beverage Manifesto of Belmond.
• Prepare and present dishes according to the Executive Chef's recipes and guidelines, focusing on aesthetics and taste.
• Collaborate with the rest of the brigade to ensure an efficient and timely service, respecting ticket times.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards by promoting responsible kitchen practices—such as minimizing food waste—in alignment with the group's environmental policies.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized, complying with hygiene, sanitary, and food safety regulations (HACCP).
• Support the training and onboarding of commis de cuisine, fostering a collaborative environment and professional growth.
