Evolution is a highly successful and rapidly growing, independent electronic security solutions integrator. With 5 offices in the UK & Ireland and a growing footprint in Europe we are looking to expand with the addition of an office operating from Italy.
As the Country Manager, you will be leading, supervising, and driving operational excellence and execution for both project and service teams, ensuring client satisfaction and allowing rapid growth throughout Europe. This is a crucial role which will allow you to utilise and test your management, commercial and technical skills to the full, supporting, influencing and steering the wider business strategy.
Responsibilities and Job Function
- Key leadership role within a multinational corporation responsible for overseeing all operations and activities within a specific country or region.
- The role will require you to work with the Group Operations and Sales Teams to develop local delivery teams and build a client portfolio for sustainability.
- To implement the company’s strategic goals and objectives maintaining the company’s brand and creating a strong presence in the local market
- Represent the interests of the company and all its stakeholders.
- The role will require a range of responsibilities and requires a combination of business acumen, leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, and strategic thinking.
- The primary objective is to drive business growth and profitability by developing and executing effective strategies that align with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
- This includes conducting market analysis, identifying opportunities for expansion, establishing and maintaining partnerships, managing the local workforce, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.
- The Country Manager serves as a bridge between the corporate headquarters and the local operations, working closely with both internal teams and external partners to achieve optimal performance and results.
- You will be responsible for all project and service work within the region, introducing clearly defined and well-communicated processes and accountability.
- Manage the planning and implementation of multiple projects on a day-to-day basis to ensure the business delivers against targets and achieves profit margins.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction, including working with senior staff within global, enterprise accounts.
- Attend client meetings acting as the operations lead for the business.
- Grow and develop the regional team, creating a culture of excellence, opportunity, and success.
- Identify and address areas where performance improvement is required.
- Full financial control of the region including profit and loss, identifying any areas of development.
Requirements
- Very strong operational, commercial and financial management skills.
- P&L experience is essential.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers including global brands.
- Previous experience within a senior operational position within similar‑sized organisation within the security industry.
- Solid experience of large project management / programme management planning, resourcing and achieving financial milestones.
- Experience of building successful teams, implementing effective processes and identifying changes and improvements.
