Corporate IT Team Lead (System Administrator)

The Role

We are looking for a Corporate IT Team Lead (System Administrator) – a strategic, hands‑on, and motivated leader passionate about building and scaling IT excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Build and operate an IT Service Management (ITSM) – define processes, handle and prioritize support requests, and ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Plan and control the IT department budget, ensuring cost efficiency and strategic investments.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including contract management and renewals.
  • Manage and maintain office infrastructure, including hardware firewalls, network equipment, and user devices (with MDM, Asset Manager, and Apple Business Manager, etc.).
  • Administer Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Google Admin (users, groups, distribution lists, licenses, and backups).
  • Manage key service providers (e.g. Atlassian Cloud, Auth0, etc.) and support with new providers’ onboarding.
  • Collaborate with other departments in support of case resolution workflow.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and improve processes.
  • Willingness to work hands‑on and take ownership of operational and technical tasks.
  • Proactive, results‑oriented, and effective in collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication in English and Italian.

Interview Process

Candidates can expect the following steps in our interview process:

  • HR Introductory Call (15 minutes): a brief phone call with HR to provide an overview of the company and the role, as well as to gain insight into your experience and background.
  • HR Video Interview (45 minutes): a more in‑depth virtual interview with HR to explore the topics discussed in the phone call and further assess your fit for the role.
  • Technical Interview with Hiring Manager (1 hour): a virtual video interview focused on the technical aspects of the role, where the hiring manager will dive into your specific skills and experience.
  • Interview with Head of Department/other key individuals (45 minutes): an interview with the Head of Department or other key individuals relevant to the role, such as team members or colleagues from other departments. This will give you a broader perspective on the position (and an opportunity to visit the office).
  • Offer: after completing the interview process, successful candidates will receive an offer.
