LTM in Bari, Italy is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage production databases in a hybrid setup. You will act as SME for the production support team, handle RCA, and ensure SLA adherence.

Responsibilities include performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and mentoring team members. Expertise with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate and OEM is essential; UNIX know-how and cloud familiarity are a plus. This role also emphasizes automation for self-healing and efficiency.

Competenze

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Dataguard, and GoldenGate architectures.
• Expertise in Oracle 12c/19c and OEM.
• Ability to design DR/Backup and high-availability solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Job Description

• Ideal candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle technology and he should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLAs also ensure customer delight and always adhere to policies and procedures
• Candidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preference

Principal responsibilities :

• The job holder is responsible for production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes
• Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues
• Lead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team members
• Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setups
• Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery
• Identify automation and Self Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes
