A leading energy company in Milan is seeking a Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar projects. This role requires an engineering degree, strong project management skills, and proficiency in Italian and English. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience and a willingness to travel, spending ~50% of the time on site. This position offers a collaborative atmosphere focusing on safety and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• 5+ years’ construction project management experience, ideally in PV.
• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with EPC and PPA contract administration preferred.

Mansioni

• Own schedule and budget performance for assigned PV projects.
• Lead EPC, PPA, supplier and contractor contract management.
• Ensure HSEQ compliance on site and adherence to permits.

What you will do

• Own schedule and budget performance for assigned PV construction projects
• Lead EPC, PPA, supplier and contractor contract management end to end
• Ensure HSEQ compliance on site and adherence to permits and technical specs
• Coordinate purchasing inputs, verify and approve project invoices
• Secure on-time delivery of main equipment and lead on-site meetings
• Drive testing, commissioning and handover to O&M per Urbasolar QAP, with weekly progress and HSEQ reporting

What you bring & who you are

• Must-have: Engineering degree (civil, electrical or similar), 5+ years’ construction project management experience (ideally PV)
• Must-have: Proficiency in Italian and English; solid PV/electrical/building technical knowledge
• Must-have: Strong ownership, rigor, autonomy; valid driving licence; willingness to travel and spend ~50% time on site (incl. occasional international travel)
• Ideally: PMI or equivalent certification; experience with EPC and PPA contract administration; familiarity with HSEQ frameworks and construction QA/QC
• Ideally: Vendor and claims management experience; strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
