Avio Aero is seeking a Construction Engineer to join a team delivering engineering services for diverse projects. You will define system requirements, design criteria, technical specifications, data sheets, and reports, covering buildings, structural and cadastral practices.

Responsibilities include supervising construction, energy audits, verifying compliance, feasibility studies, cost estimation, and coordinating with external design firms.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan, and execute projects.
• Experience in Building Engineering is a plus.

• Participate in feasibility studies and cost estimation activities.
• Interface with external design consultancy firms.
• Develop building and structural design to meet project planning, quality, and cost goals.
• Be involved in concept design, material selection, and design reviews.
• Follow construction activities of building and structural works.
• Participate in the Commissioning phase.
• Keep documentation up to date across sites.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow construction supervision and structural activities of all AvioAero sites
• Take part to energy audits at AvioAero sites
• Verify the compliance of buildings and structures and plan the interventions in the investment plan
• Take part and/or verify preliminary studies between AvioAero sites regarding Technical/regulatory aspects in the field of construction and structural works
• Partecipate to feasibility studies and cost estimation activities
• Interface with external design consultancy firm
• Take part in the development of building and structural design to meet project planning, quality, and cost goals
• Be involved in the concept design phase, material selection, perform design reviews
• Follow construction activities of building and structural works
• Partecipate at the Commissioning phase
• Keep all the documentation produced by the various Italian and foreign sites up to date

Essential Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Construction or Civil Engineer
• Basic knowledge in construction and/or applicable regulatory and technical standards
• Fluent Italian and English
• Availability to travel in the short and medium term
• Work Visa in accordance with local regulations
• Applicants must hold Italian, Japanese, or British citizenship

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of specific engineering software such as: AutoCAD 2D and 3D, software for the structural calculation of buildings and elements
• Ability to document, plan, and execute projects
• Experience in Building Engineering and/or involvements on complex projects is not mandatory but will be considered a plus
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems

Salary range for this role

34,875.00 - 52,312.50 EUR

Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
