A leading global mobility company in Italy is seeking a Consolidation Analyst to oversee financial reporting and consolidation processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background and at least 3 years of experience in financial roles, including at least 1 year in consolidation. Fluency in English and strong analytical skills are required. This role focuses on ensuring SOX compliance and preparing financial statements.

We are looking for a Consolidation analyst

Participate in the production of financial Reporting and Consolidation of the Group.

The role, withing the Group Consolidation team, foresees participation in the closing processes for actual phases, analyzing the consistency of actuals data, preparing footnotes for the external reporting as well as supporting consolidation management in providing external auditors and SOX internal audit teams data on consolidated financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight the consolidation process
  • Ensure correct consolidation treatments
  • Analyze and prepare financial statement notes
  • Support Regions in the reporting submission applying IFRS standards
Tasks
  • Assist with the preparation of the Consolidated Group’s financial statements and prepare footnotes
  • Prepare and record consolidation journal entries
  • Assist in integrating new subsidiaries into the close process
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Support external audit and review procedures
  • Be part of the continuous improvement of the consolidation process and consolidation system
  • Contribute to the strong control environment and ensure SOX compliance
Preferred Experience
  • Solid accounting background
  • Min 3 years in a suitable financial role (of which min 1 years in consolidation)
  • Experience with consolidation and reporting systems (Oracle, One Stream) and adaptable to learning new software applications
  • Excellent analytic, communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a time-contained environment
  • Thorough understanding of international accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Fluent in English
