A leading medical technology company seeks a Marketing Specialist to promote sleep and respiratory care solutions in Emilia Romagna and surrounding areas. The role requires managing customer relationships, conducting training, and developing marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will have a technical background, sales experience in the medical sector, and strong communication skills in both English and Italian. The position is hybrid, requiring in-person activities at least three days a week.

Competenze

  • Technical background preferred.
  • Prior experience as sales or technical specialist in the medical sector is advantageous.
  • Experience in home care market is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
  • Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English and Italian is essential.

Job Title

Commercial & Professional Marketing Specialist (Emilia Romagna, Toscana and Marche)

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

promote Sleep and Respiratory Care (SRC) products and solutions in the assigned area (Centre Italy) and maximize sales, margins, market share and customer relationships in order to ensure long term profitability in the targeted territory (Emilia Romagna, Toscana and Marche)

In addition, you will ensure that customers (e.g. clinician, technicians, operators, agents, Home Care Provider) are properly trained and supported.

You are responsible to

  • Manage customers and clinical stakeholders in the assigned territory
  • Conduct regular visits to customers (prescribers: Pneumologist/neurologist, nurses, physiotherapists, etc) to obtain direct feedback from them about Philips solutions and to be updated on the local tenders, Home Care Provider's penetration, competitors
  • Support and follow the clinical community/Hospitals in the assigned zone to expand the sleep and ventilation therapy adoption
  • Support and develop dedicated marketing, educational and commercial activities for prescribers (also in collaboration with the Business Partners) in order to achieving sales and marketing targets in assigned territory.
  • Train all customers (prescribers and Home Care Providers) in order that all stakeholders are provided with high quality training to achieve optimal usage of the product as indicated by the IFU
  • Develop strong relationships with the field commercial organization of the business partners in order to increase the adoption of Philips SRC solutions
  • Contribute to maintaining and updating customer's segmentation profile in CRM
  • Monitor of the local trends, Market Share and market dynamics of prescriptions in order to define commercial and marketing strategies to increase Philips adoption

You are a part of

the Local Commercial&Professional Marketing team, in direct line with Commercial&Professional Marketing Lead.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Technical background.
  • Previous experience as sales/technical specialist in medical sector is preferred
  • Experience in home care market is a plus
  • Knowledge of computer applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel) required
  • Self-motivated, enthusiast, proactive and able to manage own workload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships.
  • Verbal and written english proficiency on top of italian as local languange.

We believe that we are better together than apart. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations, so we expect in-person activities either at customer locations or in the office at least 3 days a week.
