Libera Università di Bolzano invites applications for a Researcher to contribute to ERC-funded COSE project on net art. The role focuses on independent research, technology-informed presentation, and engagement with digital art infrastructures.

The researcher will help develop an internet art ecosystem from an artworks perspective and contribute to the Digital Art Lab, including content creation for the COSE Media Wiki.

Responsabilidades

• Independent research into internet art guided by the candidate's own questions, considering technical and programmed aspects, presentation and publication.
• Development of an internet ecosystem from the perspective of artworks, contributing to a collective undertaking (discussion, publication, exhibition).
• Contributing to the development of the Digital Art Lab analysis infrastructure through proposals for further development and system testing.
• Contributing to the development and content creation of the COSE Media Wiki.

Offer Description

The COSE research group has been studying net art since the 1990s, developing a methodology that
communicates its aesthetic dimension, technical aspects, and position within the different strata of the internet in an integrated way. The project, funded by the European Union (ERC), expects the researcher to contribute to the following activities:

• Independent research into internet art with a particular focus on the situatedness of projects in the Internet guided by the candidate's own questions, taking technical and programmed aspects into account, presentation, publication
• Development of an internet ecosystem from the perspective of artworks, as a contribution to a collective undertaking (discussion, publication, exhibition)
• Contributing to the development of the Digital Art Lab, an analysis infrastructure, through proposals for further development and system testing
• Contributing to the development and content creation of the COSE Media Wiki... (see call)
