Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking Coating Operators to join their team. As a Coating Operator, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the quality and efficiency of coating processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title

Location

Location: Bohemia, NY

Pay

Pay Range: $18.75-$20.60 per hour

Shift

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM

3rd shift, Sunday- Thursday, 11:00PM- 7:30AM

Duration

Duration: Temp-to-hire

Responsibilities

• Operate coating machinery independently and within a team environment
• Move skids using electric and manual jacks and operate hand tools
• Match labels with batch records accurately
• Document coating process information according to SOPs
• Load and unload coating machines and weigh ingredients to prepare coating solutions

What’s Needed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of prior manufacturing experience
• Experience in food or pharma manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, climb, and bend repeatedly
