ICTP Associateship Scheme seeks a highly interdisciplinary Junior Researcher to contribute to the ERC HyBOP project in Condensed Matter & Statistical Physics. Condensed Matter & Statistical Physics short-term Junior Researcher position within ERC HyBOP project

TheJunior Researcher will be part of a highly interdisciplinary team developing atomistic models to study aqueous systems including bulk water under supercooled conditions, ions in water and at interfaces and pH induced hydrodynamic effects. The Junior Researcher will undertake research on studying the interactions between UV light and solid-water (Ice) as part of a new collaboration with Prof. Giulia Galli's group at the University of Chicago, whilecollaborating with ERC Postdoctoral Fellows currently at ICTP, to study the emission spectra of photoexcited water.
