Italian Hospitality Collection brings together luxury hotels, resorts, and spas in some of Italy’s most iconic destinations. In Tuscany, the collection includes Fonteverde, Bagni di Pisa, and Grotta Giusti, historic thermal residences set in breathtaking landscapes; in the Aosta Valley, Le Massif interprets Alpine hospitality with a contemporary touch.

In southern Sardinia, Chia Laguna Resort overlooks one of the island’s most spectacular stretches of coastline and comprises three distinct hotels: Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia, Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia – Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hotel Village. The resort has a total of 424 rooms and a conference centre with 8 meeting rooms accommodating up to 900 delegates. 1.0 The role and type of contract

This position will report to the General Manager of the resort and will share responsibility for operational management with him, following the guidelines of IHC Group.

We offer a permanent contract with Quadro A2 Employment classification – CCNL AICA Tourism.

2.0 What we are looking for

We are recruiting for a Cluster Hotel Manager for Chia Laguna Nature Resort, who will take on the operational responsibility of the two Hilton branded hotels part of the resort:

  • The Laguna hotel, part of Conrad collection with 107 keys 5 Star, one of three luxury brands within Hilton, catering towards the Smart Luxury mindset, and offering guests intuitive service, infinite connections and a world of style.
  • The Baia di Chia hotel, part of Curio collection with 77 keys 5-Star, one collection of hotels that are hand‑picked for their distinct character and personality, catering towards today’s travellers that are looking for unique and memorable hotels that offer distinct and authentic experiences.

The Cluster Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing the daily hotel operations of these hotels in the continuing effort to deliver the brand promise, creative and outstanding guest service.

Key objectives of the role
  • Drive and support motivation within the two teams of the hotels.
  • Drive incremental revenues across all departments, with key focus in Room Division as well as F&B.
  • Drive consistency and quality standards disposed by the brands throughout the year.
  • Deliver the annual budget through the agreed commercial strategies.
3.0 Soft & Personal skills
Functional Know-How

Must possess hands‑on and successful experience in managing all the key business functions required of a Hotel Manager, including operations, management controlling, sales, revenue and e‑commerce. All in an upscale/luxury branded environment.

Interpersonal skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining presence and communicating effectively at all levels within the two hotels part of resort.

Leadership

Must be a strong leader who has empathy and an ability to motivate and mentor others to deliver the agreed strategy and desired outcomes within allocated timeframes.

Self-Management and Organization

Be a self‑starter and have the ability to establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of the agreed strategy, systems, procedures or outcomes.

Initiative

Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement actions required to completion and ensuring deadlines are met. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple and concurrent demands. Ability to collaborate with others and act in an objective manner to stay on track to achieve goals.

Flexibility

The ability to readily modify, respond to and integrate change with minimal personal resistance. Must be able to adapt to changing environments.

Economics Analysis

Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate the results clearly, either through monthly performance reports or any other ad hoc financial analysis requested from GM. Capability to propose solutions that adjust costs in line with revenue performance.

  • A strong leader and hands‑on operator with excellent people management skills, driving employee engagement and delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • Strong resort operational experience across luxury properties.
  • Strong understanding of operational functions and ideally of commercial functions.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • A positive and motivated hands‑on approach.
  • Fluent Italian and English.
  • Excellent room division and food and beverage know how.
  • Previous experience in luxury international brands; Prior experience with Hilton, within one of the luxury or upper upscale brands.
