Job summary

Tesco Mobile is recruiting a DevSecOps Engineer to join the DevSecOps Squad, shaping cloud platform strategy across AWS, Azure and private cloud. You will stay hands-on while delivering secure, scalable platforms and promoting IaC adoption to empower developers.

Join a team that partners with Cyber Security, Architecture and Product to drive secure platform design, observability and automation, while mentoring peers and balancing strategic thinking with delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive cloud platform engineering experience (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform.
• Solid understanding of security principles and secure platform design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within the DevSecOps squad.
• Maintain cloud platforms with high reliability, security and recoverability.
• Influence system design decisions and review proposals.
• Drive automation and observability to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and other stakeholders on security.
• Champion platform automation and self-service capabilities.
• Mentor colleagues and support delivery teams.
