About The Job

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud‑Native AppDev Architect to join us in Italy. In this role, you will work with enterprise customers. You’ll need experience with Cloud‑Native and application modernization, Micro‑services including service mesh and asynchronous messaging systems. You’ll guide the on‑site delivery and implementation of modern Red Hat technology. You will focus on delivering quality work resulting in a positive customer experience while building broad and deep technical expertise in Red Hat’s cloud technologies. As an Architect, you will gain an understanding of our customer infrastructures with a particular focus on Red Hat OpenShift and business needs and you’ll make recommendations appropriate to customer environments.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site addressing customer technical, development, or strategic IT needs
  • Constantly learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
  • Produce quality results and provide support to more than one project in multiple industries and various types of projects
  • Keep stakeholders updated on actual or potential issues that may affect project or company performance
  • Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, and software specification, as well as the design, testing, and deployment of open‑source solutions
  • Provide written project documentation that can be distributed within Red Hat’s and customer management teams
  • Adapt to changing customer requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and OPL practices with their practical application
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of middleware technologies, including enterprise web or middleware development project experience with application integration
  • Experience working in a consulting or related role
  • Experience with enterprise‑wide deployments
  • Advanced knowledge on Red Hat OpenShift and Microservices framework
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning Operations is a strong plus
  • Agile methodology approach
  • Demonstrated experience communicating value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders and diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • It’s nice to have certification of leading cloud service providers
  • On‑site presence at the client’s location if necessary and requested
