Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage private (VMware) and public (AWS/Azure) infrastructure.
• Perform server and storage patching, hardening, and upgrades.
• Manage cloud security and compliance.
• Support cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Collaborate with teams for critical upgrades and onsite interventions.
• Ensure compliance with remote work and on‑call duty requirements.

Profile

• Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash.
• 3–5 years of experience in virtualized and cloud infrastructures.
• Fluent Italian (mother tongue).
• Cloud or VMware certifications preferred.
• Experience in vulnerability remediation and security incident response.
• You have strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
