Job Description

To strengthen our dynamic and global IT team, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer at REPA, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure – primarily on Microsoft Azure, while supporting multi‑cloud and hybrid environments. You’ll collaborate with architecture, DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, using best practices for security, availability, and performance.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, templates, or Bicep.
• Configure and maintain networking components including VNets, load balancers, Azure Firewall and VPN gateways.
• Deploy and manage IaaS and PaaS services such as AKS, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Storage Accounts.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Bitbucket, Bitbucket pipelines.
• Manage CDN (Azure Front Door, Cloudflare, Amplience, etc.).
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (SumoLogic, PRTG, Pingdom, New Relic, etc.).
• Understand Azure Well‑Architected Framework (WAF); optimise cloud performance, cost, and security using tools such as Defender for Cloud, Azure Firewall, Azure Policy, Automation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across environments and ensure high system reliability.
• Document cloud architecture, operational procedures, and runbooks.
• Stay up to date with cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering roles.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure.
• Azure certifications (AZ‑104).
• Strong knowledge of IaaS, PaaS: networking, security, IAM, and cloud‑native services.
• Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Solid experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Implementation of Microsoft best practices, following Azure Well‑Architected Framework (WAF), Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), high availability and cost savings.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑305, AZ‑400).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience using version control (Git).
• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi‑cloud environments.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, GDPR).
• Familiarity with service mesh, serverless, and microservices architectures.
• Experience in regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Azure Open AI.
