Alpitronic in Bolzano, Italy seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, build and run scalable cloud-native platforms and data infrastructure with a focus on automation, observability and reliability.

You will manage cloud services on AWS and Azure, implement IaC pipelines, oversee Linux-based infrastructure, and drive secure, high-performance solutions. English required; German/Italian a plus; hybrid opportunities may be discussed. Competitive compensation with security and training benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field
• Experience in Cloud Engineering/DevOps/SRE or modern IT operations
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure and hands-on cloud automation
• Knowledge of IaC, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with data processing, analytics workflows or DataOps is advantageous
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Networking, security and distributed systems understanding
• Proficient English; German/Italian a plus

Mansioni

• Design, build and operate scalable, cloud native platforms and data infrastructure with automation and reliability
• Plan, build, test, deploy and optimize cloud platforms on Azure, AWS and Databricks
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure including lifecycle management, patching and monitoring
• Identify and resolve infrastructure incidents and CI/CD issues with preventive measures
• Oversee migrations to the cloud ensuring minimal operational impact
• Ensure high availability, performance and governance standards across environments
