Responsibilities
  • You will operate on Data Platform Big Data or hybrid platforms, on‑premises or cloud, implementing batch or real‑time processing pipelines, data transformation and processing of structured and unstructured data.
  • You will be autonomous in acquisition, historization, cleansing, anonymization/crypting/masking, handling null values/outliers, aggregation, structuring of unstructured data, creation of KPI of quality, and preparing data for various users: data scientists, data visualization and business intelligence tools, relational structures (e.g., DWH) and non‑relational (e.g., Graph DB, NoSQL), and external applications in API logic (e.g., REST API).
  • You will receive machine learning models from data scientists, optimize them for scalable execution (e.g., applying parallelism), and integrate or schedule them for efficient automated execution.
  • You will work with a selection of technologies chosen per project and client, preferring cloud native and globally scalable architectures, selecting the most suitable technologies for complex pipelines, maximizing reuse, quality, efficiency, performance, documentation, and order.
  • You will be called upon to provide advisory to select engineering technologies in nascent big data architectures or to improve existing ecosystems.
  • You will demonstrate and evolve skills in interacting with clients, vendors, partners, and ensuring the best solution aligned with shared requirements.
  • You will contribute to the community with research, scouting, concept development and business development.
Qualifications
  • Experience in implementing and managing cloud‑based data platforms.
  • Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Google GCP, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure) and supporting services for data management, processing and analysis.
  • Knowledge of modern data platform concepts (e.g., Big Data, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Virtualization, Data Mesh, Data Governance).
  • Experience designing data models and building maintaining data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Knowledge of one or more data programming/query languages (e.g., SQL, Java, Ruby, Python, R).
  • In‑depth knowledge of one or more technologies for managing structured and unstructured databases (e.g., BigQuery, MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis).
