The use of post-extraction dental implants has more recently become established as a successful procedure, even in areas of high aesthetic importance. Long-term data on these techniques (at least 5 years post-surgery) remain relatively limited. The aim of this research project is to evaluate the clinical efficacy—specifically regarding hard and soft tissue outcomes—and the incidence of complications associated with postextraction implants in a patient population enrolled in a rigorous secondary prevention program
