Job summary

SSM Health Verona Clinic is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition assessments and care planning for patients and residents, tailoring plans to individual needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care providers, education for patients and families, and ongoing evaluation of outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics is required; no prior experience needed. This on-site position offers a 24-hour work week with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligibility or licensure as applicable.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the nutrition care of patients/residents including screening, assessment, intervention, care and discharge planning.
• Adhere to care standards from federal, state and Joint Commission for nutrition care.
• Monitor progress, reassess, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists and other care providers on nutrition issues.
