GSK in Siena, Italy is seeking a Programmer to design, build and validate code that turns clinical and real-world data into clear, trustworthy results. You’ll work with statisticians, data scientists and study teams to implement analysis plans in an agile environment.

Requirements include a degree in a relevant field, proficiency in R/Python, SAS/SQL, and CDISC standards, plus fluent Italian and English. The role offers a permanent contract with strong growth potential.

Competenze

• Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, life sciences, or related field.
• Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotech or a CRO.
• Experience with scripting or statistical languages such as R or Python.
• Familiarity with CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards.
• Experience producing validated outputs and conducting code reviews.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Develop, test and document code to transform, analyse and report clinical and observational datasets.
• Produce validated datasets, tables, listings and figures that meet standards and timelines.
• Support SDTM, ADaM and reporting activities, including study and standard program development, validation and review.
• Review and quality check code, outputs and documentation to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data scientists and study teams to implement analysis plans and resolve questions.
• Help introduce and apply improved tools, automation or coding patterns within an agile delivery setting.
