Client Director owns the day-to-day client relationship and all elements of delivery, ensuring the implementation of the strategic vision, achievement of financial targets, and development of a trusted partnership with the client. The role leads the Shared Service Delivery Operations, providing high-quality media operations to support Media and Performance brands. This includes oversight of platform configuration, campaign setup and optimization, media delivery and reconciliation, reporting, and supplier validation. The Director ensures operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement across all delivery areas.**Job Description:****Key Responsibilities****Client Leadership & Strategic Growth*** Act as a dentsu ambassador, fostering strong internal and external relationships to enhance the company’s reputation.* Own the client relationship, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery of innovative, ambitious, and commercially sound solutions.* Deepen senior-level client relationships to ensure retention and growth.* Immerse self and team in the client’s business: understanding challenges, objectives, market dynamics, competitive threats, and partner ecosystem.* Translate agency strategy into actionable business plans that deliver measurable value to the client.* Use account plans to stimulate and track future work, ensuring resource allocation aligns with client priorities.**Operational Excellence*** Lead delivery operations including campaign setup, platform configuration, media reconciliation, and reporting.* Promote best practices, process compliance, and continuous improvement across all operational activities.* Ensure quality standards, SLAs, and client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.* Manage systems for accurate forecasting and tracking of media spend and operational performance.**Team Leadership & Collaboration*** Lead and mentor cross-functional teams focused on sub-practice delivery areas.* Ensure team members build strong relationships with client counterparts and deliver outstanding service.* Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client success and operational excellence.**Financial Management & Commercial Oversight*** Define and monitor revenue streams, budgets, and financial targets in collaboration with Media Practice President and CEO.* Own cross-service line client P&L, ensuring both revenue and profit growth.* Understand the client’s commercial framework and ensure the business is run profitably.* Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and budget tracking.* Improve client satisfaction to expand existing revenue streams and unlock new opportunities.**Requirements*** Proven experience in media operations, strategic account management, and client leadership.* Strong understanding of media platforms, campaign lifecycle, and performance optimization.* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex delivery operations.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.* Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L ownership.* Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans that drive business value.* Fluent in English; other languages are a plus depending on client portfolio.If you believe you match these skills, please apply!
