Client Advisor – Mercer Marsh Benefits – Rome, Italy

Marsh is looking for a talented candidate to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team as a Client Advisor based in the Rome office. The role is part of an employee benefits consultancy and insurance brokerage that helps clients worldwide manage people risks and cost complexity.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day communication with clients and support colleagues.
  • Complete billing and transactional tasks, liaise between senior professionals and business accounts, and handle daily client‑management activities to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including large, complex, and multinational accounts.
  • Maintain direct relationships with clients for the management of employee benefits and insurance solutions.
  • Interface closely with client executives to deliver on client needs.
  • Develop fluency in the Company’s product offerings and explore expanded business opportunities on the assigned portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in insurance, preferably in client‑facing roles with Employee Health & Benefits solutions.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Italian.
  • A strong results‑orientation, client focus, and interpersonal skill set.
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and work independently or within a team.
