A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking a Civil & Structural Resident Engineer. Responsibilities include supervision, ensuring compliance with safety rules, and dealing with site issues. Candidates must have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in high-rise residential projects. Familiarity with local codes is preferred.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
• Experience in building projects; experience in HDB projects will be an advantage.

Mansioni

• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by Consultant team.
• Witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions performed by Sub-contractors.
• Compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificates.
• Ensure company's safety rule is complied with.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to drawings and specifications.
• Attend site meetings and perform site inspections.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.

• Any other task assigned from time to time.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
• Experience in building projects; experience in HDB projects will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferably conversant with local codes and familiar with local authority’s regulations and requirements.
