Heritage in Milan is seeking a COO Intern to support cross-functional projects across the business. You will coordinate initiatives spanning teams, report to senior leadership, and help turn insights into delivery, with exposure to senior leadership.

Over six months you will work on onboarding improvements, portfolio setup, billing processes, and product/tech enhancements, gaining practical experience in operations, finance, and client experience while collaborating with an international team

Competenze

• Outstanding academic background with a master's degree in Finance, Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Previous experience in a fintech/technology-based environment or multi-family office, private bank, asset manager, or fund administrator is a plus.
• Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in exploring new technologies.
• Familiarity with data automation tools (VBA, Power BI, or Python) is considered a plus.
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a hands-on attitude.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative and multicultural mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Available for a 6-month internship starting in November/December 2026.

Your role

We are looking for a COO Intern to join our team.

You will act as a support project manager across the whole business : picking up initiatives that span teams, getting them moving, and seeing them through to delivery, with exposure to senior leadership as you share your results.

It is a great first role if you want to understand how a modern wealth management firm really works, and what building a scale-up looks like from the inside. Over six months you will get exposure to multiple teams across the business, learning how each part works and taking on projects in areas such as:

• Client experience: support the team in making onboarding and servicing faster and smoother, by finding where things stall and fixing the root cause
• Portfolio management operations: help in portfolio set-up, reconciliation and reporting, and the custodian and bank relationships behind them
• Finance: assist with billing, fees and the processes that keep the numbers right
• Product and tech: provide support in bringing what you see on the ground to our product and tech teams, and helping turn it into better tools and automation

Who we are looking for
