A leading finance and insurance company in Milan is seeking a CFO to oversee all financial activities including accounting, treasury, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial audits and accounting within the insurance sector, coupled with a solid understanding of financial statements. Proficiency in English and a degree in Economics are required. This role demands a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities and good MS Office knowledge.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial audit or accounting in insurance.
• Solid knowledge of financial statements in insurance or banking.
• Fluency in English required, French is a plus.

The CFO monitors and controls all the activities in the area Finance including general and analytical accounting, management control, fiscal, treasury and reporting. Defines technical standards and rules management and organizational function to ensure the accuracy of accounting and compliance with deadlines.

• Perform the monthly closure for the 2 branches (French Gaap) with good quality precision and on time
• Performs the regulatory and fiscal reporting for the 2 branches (Italian Gaap)
• Right understanding of IFRS17 results
• Perform controlling and budgeting activities
• Find the right instruments to mitigate the operational and financial risks
• Manage the relations with banks, fiscal consultant, reinsurer and other financial and accounting counterpart
• Treasury and bank account management
• Management of actuarial team (Life – Non life)
