A leading cloud service provider is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Chief Engineer in the Greater Milan area. The role involves overseeing the operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards for safety and efficiency. Candidates should have strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience in managing projects, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires a valid driving license due to the location.

Competenze

• Demonstrate key electrical competencies (Practice & Theory).
• Ability to draft accurate support procedures in English.
• Willingness to travel between Data center sites.

Mansioni

• Oversee operations and maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.

Conoscenze

Good verbal and written English communication skills

Key electrical competencies

Knowledge of mechanical systems

Solid IT skills

Formazione

Apprentice / trades certified or diploma in an Electrical field

Undergraduate degree in a technical field (EE, MechE, IndustrialE)
