Job summary

Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, located in Portofino, is seeking a Chef de Rang for its DaV Mare team to deliver authentic luxury service in a fine-dining setting.

The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication, and will report to the Restaurant Manager. The role includes coordinating with Commis de Rang and supporting the restaurant’s standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is preferred.
• Previous professional experience in a luxury environment or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on DaV Restaurant according to company policies and high standards.
• Monitor all aspects of the customers’ experience from layout to service progression.
• Enhance flawless service and anticipate guests’ needs; maintain relationships and handle inquiries.
• Coordinate and monitor Commis de Rang assigned to them.
• Contribute to achieving the outlet’s economic targets.
