Category Merchandising Manager, Sneakers

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Category Merchandising Manager, Sneakers to join our Footwear team.

This role will be responsible for planning, developing and managing the sneakers category assortment to drive growth, profitability, and brand positioning across all relevant channels.

What you’ll do
  • Define and execute the sneakers category Merchandising and Collection strategy in line with brand vision and seasonal objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop seasonal assortment plans (style, color, price, distribution) to maximize sales and margins.
  • Develop special makeup assortment for strategic key accounts to differentiate assortment and maximize business opportunities, in cooperation with partners.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure the sneakers category aligns with commercial and creative priorities.
  • Monitor sell-through, stock levels, and product performance across channels; propose in-season actions where needed.
  • Prepare reports and present key findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support go-to-market activities, including product launches and drops, product training, and storytelling for the sneakers category.
Who you’re
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or related field.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in merchandising, buying or category management, ideally within sneakers, footwear or streetwear.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel and merchandising/planning tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for sneakers, streetwear culture and emerging trends.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, agile and solutions-oriented attitude.
