A leading digital freight forwarder in Milan is seeking a Carrier Specialist to expand their carrier network and oversee daily transport operations. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in road transport and be fluent in both Italian and English. This role operates in a hybrid work environment where team members are in the office at least 3 days a week.

Carrier Specialist – Domestic Freight

Location: Milan, Italy | Department: Carriers | Work model: Hybrid | Employment type: Full-time

We are a growing team looking for a Carrier Specialist in the Operations department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.

Responsibilities

• Expand our carrier network within Italy by identifying and onboarding key partners.
• Supervise our daily transports in Italy and handle all arising inquiries from carriers.
• Using your knowledge of the partner’s business to identify opportunities and offer solutions and inside pricing
• Managing the day-to-day operations tasks.

Qualifications

• Confidence in using data to analyze and track key metrics;
• 4-5 years’ experience in full truck load transport by road domestic
• The ability to communicate fluently both in Italian and English.
• Great details attention and an organized approach;
• Fun solving complex challenges in a fast-paced environment;
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under stress.
