Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated TEAM LEADER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Florence - IT

Accountabilities

• Coordination of service / retrofit activities related to rail vehicle maintenance, resources in the execution of Maintenance activities, with a view to continuous cost / time / quality improvement.
• Managing the documentation related to ongoing maintenance, the correct flow of use of specific tools and equipment for the performance of Service activities.
• Ensure the safety of maintenance locations by promoting compliance with current procedures, taking care to report any "non-conformities" to their supervisors.
• Support the enhancement of skills and teamwork by leading the resources on their shift (7 / 7 h24).

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Experience in performing and managing maintenance activities, preferably gained in the railroad industry.
• ANSF certifications - National Railway Safety Agency (COCS 30) - to work on train safety organs (preferred).

Education / Qualifications

• High school diploma, preferably Technical Expert (Mechanical, Computer, Electronic).
• Languages: Proficiency in Italian is mandatory. Basic knowledge of English (written and spoken).
